Beschreibung:
DocFetcher ist eine Desktop Suchmaschine für Windows und Linux. Nach der Erstellung eines Index auf ausgewählten Ordnern kann das Programm folgende Dateitypen im Volltext durchsuchen:
* HTML and plain text; hier können eigene Text-, HTML-Endungen hinzugefügt werden
* Portable Document Format (pdf)
* Microsoft Office Word (doc), Excel (xls) and PowerPoint (ppt)
* OpenOffice.org Writer, Calc, Draw and Impress (od* - Version 2/3)
* Rich Text Format (rtf)
* AbiWord (abw, abw.gz, zabw)
* Microsoft Compiled HTML Help (chm)
* Microsoft Visio (vsd)

* "Open in external browser" button didn't send DocFetcher to the system tray.
* Warning message when the user tries to close the program while an indexing process is still running in the background.
* OpenOffice text extraction completed.
* Bugfix for bug report #2778204: PreviewPanel threw an IllegalArgumentException when clicking the next/previous occurrence buttons.

Super Programm, da man einen Index auf mehreren Rechnern nutzen kann - das bietet keine der anderen kostenlosen Desktopsuchmaschinen (Google, WDS, Yahoo) soweit ich weiss (erst in den kostenpflichtigen Sharepoint Varianten...)
