Nach der Erstindizierung sehr schnell und gut sortiert. Den Autostart habe ich allerdings deaktiviert, auf ständige Hintergrundindizierung kann ich verzichten. Etwas MS-lastig bei Mails. Für die gefundenen Treffer gibt es eine Vorschau. Die Sortierung ist variabel, die Standardeinstellung nach Datum gegliedert ist an
Picasa (EFB-Suche) angelehnt, was ich sehr angenehm finde. Auch die Kategorien nach Filetypen ist gelungen, vemisse allerdings eine ogg-Unterstützung bei Musik. Na vielleicht in der nächsten Build.... Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Tool.
Wer das Ganze für das Netzwerk braucht, kann vielleicht auf die
Copernic Enterprise Search (EFB-Suche) zurückgreifen, die allerdings auf 5000 Dokumente limitiert ist in der freien Version, während diese Desktop Search unlimitiert ist.
