Folder as Workspace is enhanced largely in this version, by adding 3 new capacities “Select/Show current editing editing file”, “Fold All” and “Expand All”.
JSON syntax highlighting is improved as well - if you update from the old version, you should remove your langs.xml for the new syntax highlighting taking effect.
There are also a lot of important fixes and enhancements in this release, here are 2 most important fixed and enhanced issues:

The fix of restoring line position issue while document is wrapped.

... weil das posting erst gestern in eine alte Version der DB zurück importiert wurde, es aber ursprünglich am 16.7.2020, 17:08:53 von Gordon getippt wurde - und vermutlich zu diesem Zeitpunkt das CL noch fehlte ... Vielleicht war Gordon aber auch zu faul, nachzugucken, und er hat einfach nur geschrieben "fehlt noch". Oder er hat es übersehen. Oder einen Schärz gemacht ...


BTW - Notepad++ ist zur Zeit in China wohl gesperrt

Notepad++ drops (stops running under) Windows XP due to technical reasons. Notepad++ 7.9.2 is the last version to run on Windows XP.

Also, Notepad++ License GPL has been updated from version 2.0 to version 3.0.

The modern style file/folder dialogs (save/open/browse) are enhanced

A regression of DPI scaling while dragging Notepad++ into the 2nd monitor in v7.9.3 has been fixed in this version.
A new feature “Find in Projects” (to find the occurrences in the files of your specific projects) is added in this release.

fixes Notepad++ not starting up due to incompetible plugin after installation. Removing the problematic plugin (SaveAsAdmin) via installer makes a better user experience - it’s not the bug either a regression from Notepad++.

Folder & file dialog are also improved (with bug-fixes) in this release.
