Designed for home DJs, VirtualDJ Home includes nearly all the features of VirtualDJ Pro, with only a few limitations.
If you don't own or don't plan to use any additional DJ hardware (mixer, turntable, DJ controller or video projector), then VirtualDJ Home will meet all your requirements.

We just released a small maintenance release for VirtualDJ 7.
Version 8 is just around the corner, so this new 7 release doesn't add any feature, it's just a bug fix.
It mostly addresses issues found in the new Windows 8.1 (where the windows could be too big if your dpi was set to high), and in MacOS 10.9 Mavericks (where it could crash on startup if your user path changed).
It also fixes small bugs with locating iTunes library, changes in NetSearch streaming protocols, and update the list of out-of-the-box compatible DJ devices to 213 devices, including almost all the known controllers from DJ equipment manufacturers around the world.
. This version is a significant milestone in the history of VirtualDJ. Unlike the transition to v7 from v6, or to v6 from v5 etc, where we just added new significant features (like video support, 99 decks, ContentUnlimited, etc), for the v8 transition, we rewrote our software from the ground up. VirtualDJ was first started in 1996, and in the following 15 years, we kept adding more and more features, to keep pushing the limit of how technology can help you mix better. But, 15 years of layers upon layers of new code, can get quite messy, and our development speed was slowing down. That's why we spent the last 3 years to rewriting everything clean and fresh, so that for the next 20 years, new breakthrough features will keep coming at lightning speed, update after update.
VirtualDJ 8.2 ist als Early Access update verfügbar.
Wer die neue Version unverbindlich testen möchte bitte in den Settings/ Optionen "Early Access Update" aktivieren.
Danach V8 nochmals neu starten, und warten bis der Download komplett beendet ist.
