Gutes Freeware-Tool, mit dem Sie schnell die Titel-Informationen (ID3-Tags) von MP3-Files erstellen oder verändern können.
Unterstützt wird die Übernahme der Informationen aus dem Dateinamen (und umgekehrt), das Kopieren der Information von anderen MP3-Dateien und die gleichzeitige Bearbeitung von mehreren Dateien.
Mp3tag kann Playlisten erstellen, die das Abspielen der MP3-Sammlung mit gängigen MP3-Playern wie WinAmp vereinfachen. Eine Reihe von Konvertierungen führt das Programm einfach und schnell durch. So können aus ID3-Tags Dateinamen generiert werden und umgekehrt.
Auch Formatierungen von ID3-Tags und Dateinamen nach Kleinbuchstaben, Großbuchstaben oder Schreibweise lassen sich einfach durchführen.
Es handelt sich dabei um eine kleine Systray-Applikation die neben der Uhr in der Taskleiste erscheint. Mit Mp3tag Quick Pick kann das Programm schnell geöffnet und auf die letzten zehn Verzeichnisse, die mit Mp3tag bearbeitet wurden, kann komfortabel zugegriffen werden.
