TruPax ist ein kleines Tool zur besseren Nutzung von Truecrypt. Mit diesem Tool kann man auch ohne installiertes TrueCrypt(!) TrueCrypt-Container erzeugen, um sensible Dateien und Ordner sicher zu transportieren. Die erzeugte Containergröße passt sich dabei dynamisch dem Inhalt an. Notwendig ist allerdings Java 6, was jedoch fast immer der Fall sein sollte. Sicherheitshalber kann man aber portable Java mit auf den USB-Stick packen - denn das wird imho der Haupteinsatzzweck von TruPax sein. Im Moment ohne GUI - Kommandozeile ist angesagt und entweder speichert man sich die Dokumentation mit ab oder lässt sich die Befehle durch einfachen Aufruf von TruPax ohne Parameter anzeigen. Am heimischen PC mit installiertem TrueCrypt kann man dann die erzeugten Container wie gehabt mounten und nutzen.What is it?
TruPax is at this moment a complementing utility for the TrueCrypt® encryption solution. It offers you a convenient way to transfer arbitrary numbers of files and directories into a new volume file. The size of the final container will be exactly of the space needed. TruPax does this fast and also directly, by creating the file system structures in the encrypted container on-the-fly, no second pass needed.
