Update auf AxCrypt Release 1.6.1 (2005-03-16)

After much work behind the scenes, here comes the next version of AxCrypt.

This is a maintenance release, fixing numerous bugs and annoyances as well as improving some functions.

There is no new functionality, but what is there generally works better.

If you already have AxCrypt installed, please do not uninstall the previous first, just install this version and let it do the upgrade.

Änderungen

The major changes include a rewrite of the basic mechanism for reading
and writing data, shifting away from memory mapped file I/O to regular
I/O as there are indications that some networks and VPN software are
not fully compatible with memory mapped I/O, at the worst causing data
loss. Robustness before peformance, so... Also, Danish is now supported.
Finally some minor changes and bugs are fixed of course.

Ich habe den Installer zwar nur entpackt und das Programm nicht installiert, aber mein AV Programm meckert nicht. Ein Scann mit Arovax brachte auch nichts negatives.

Die Beta gibt es nun auch als 64-Bit Version. Der Programm-Steckbrief kann also um Die Zeile: Nativ x64?: Ja ergänzt werden.
Des Weiteren ist auch die Beta multilingual, auch wenn sich das Setup als AxCrypt-1.7.1796.0-x64-en-US-Beta.msi ausgibt.
