They're back! PowerToys are additional programs that developers work on after a product has been released to manufacturing. They add fun and functionality to the Windows experience.

Note We've taken great care to ensure that PowerToys operate as they should, but they are not part of Windows and are not supported by Microsoft. For this reason, Microsoft Technical Support is unable to answer questions about PowerToys. PowerToys are for Windows XP only

Microsoft RAW Image Thumbnailer and Viewer for Windows XP

After installing the Microsoft RAW Image Thumbnailer and Viewer Powertoy for Windows XP you will be able to view, organize, and print photos captured in RAW image formats from supported Canon and Nikon digital cameras.

This software offers the following benefits to digital photographers:
High image quality. This software uses the camera vendors' own processing libraries to provide the highest possible image fidelity for RAW images.
Superior color fidelity. Windows Image Color Management (ICM) is used to render images in the correct color space as determined by the photographer when the image was captured.
Familiar user experience. This software builds on the familiar Windows user experience and requires little or no learning curve.
Performance tuned for rapid previews. The software uses background processing and other techniques to ensure a good preview experience even for large images.

SyncToy 2.0ß

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... lang=en&tm
What Has Changed in v2.0?

The SyncToy v2.0 release has several improvements, most notably:

 Dynamic Drive Letter Assignment: Drive letter reassignment will now be detected and updated in the folder pair definition.
 True Folder Sync: Folder creates; renames and deletes are now synchronized for all SyncToy ac-tions.
 Exclusion Filtering Based on Name: File exclusion based on name with exact or fuzzy matching.
 Filtering Based on File Attributes: The ability to exclude files based on one or more file attributes (Read-Only, System, Hidden).
 Unattended Folder Pair Execution: Addressed issues related to running scheduled folder pairs while logged off.
 Folder Pairs With Shared Endpoints: Ability for folder pairs associated with the same or different instances of SyncToy to share end-points.
 Command line enhancements: Added the ability to manage folder pairs via the command line in-terface.
 The SyncToy engine has been re-architected to provide scalability and the ability to add significant enhancements in future releases.
Sync engine is also more robust insomuch that many single, file level errors are skipped without affecting the entire sync operation.
 Sync Encrypted Files: Sync of Encrypted files works when local folder and files are encrypted, which addresses the common scenario involving sync between local, encrypted laptop PC folder and remote, unencrypted desktop PC folder.64-Bit compatibility
 Folder pair rename
 Sub-folder Exclusion Enhancements: Descendents creates under excluded sub-folders are auto-matically excluded.
 Folder Pair Metadata Moved: Folder pair metadata removed from MyDocuments to resolve any issues with server-based folder pair re-direction setup.
 Removed combine and subscribe actions
Systemvoraussetzungen:

Windows Vista; Windows XP
Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0

http://www.essential-freebies.de/board/ ... &&start=20

http://www.essential-freebies.de/board/ ... p?p=110531

(siehe Diskussion hier: http://www.essential-freebies.de/board/ ... hp?t=13912 )

und bliebe bei FreeFileSync ;-)

Happy Sync'ing!

https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/releases/
