This is a bugfix release for some outstanding issues in 24.7.0.

Fixes/changes:
- Fixed a text rendering issue with the new back-end on overdraw layers when hardware acceleration is in use on Windows.
This may also solve some additional small issues in the user interface that weren't present before 24.7.0.

- Fixed the use of Google Maps.
If you previously used the workaround in 24.7, then please remove the user-set preference (right-click -> reset).

Pale Moon 25.0 has not officially been released yet.

Apparently the binaries for Pale Moon 25.0 were leaked shortly after they were uploaded to the
internal distribution network (by way of scanners for potentially existing file names on the release mirrors).

From there on, those binaries were distributed to at least a few software sites (e.g. MajorGeeks, Softexia, etc.)
from where people have since downloaded these leaked "early distribution" binaries.

A few very important points about this situation:
The publication date is tomorrow, Oct 10th. Everyone is strongly urged to wait until the official release.

A public beta of Pale Moon 25.0 (beta 2) has been released.

Considering the major changes involved in the structure of Pale Moon going on 25.0 and beyond,
a public beta version of the browser has been released to get feedback and exposure of the code.

Things to note about this beta:
It is only available in ZIP format (no installer) or APK in case of the mobile version.
Pale Moon 25.0 will not run on Windows XP. Only the specialized Atom version will run on Windows XP.
